Ans. The clearance of imported
goods is made on filing a Bill
Of Entry. A bill of entry can
be filed for home consumption
or into-bond or ex-bond. Documents
required in each case are mentioned
in the form.
Q.2. Is there any scheme in
which I can bring in goods for
exhibition in Pakistan and later
take them out after the exhibition?
Ans. Yes SRO 552(I)98 deals
with this subject.
Q.3. Is there some difference
in information of B/E and invoice,
can I get them amended after
filing the bill of entry?
Ans. Bill of Entry is the
document on which the importer
files his declaration with Customs.
Invoice is issued by the foreign
supplier to a Pakistani importer.
The Bill of entry can be amended
as provided in section 79 read
with section 29 of the Customs
Act, 1969.
